Services: Brand, Content & Website
Top-to-bottom rebuild of a Kent-based charity’s website
When we were invited to re-design and re-develop the Strode Park Foundation website, we jumped at the opportunity to support a local charity. Strode Park provides vital care, support services and care at home for children and adults with disabilities, so their website needed to have accessibility and user experience (UX) front-and-centre.
We kicked off the project with a UX and strategy session with Strode Park, to determine their priorities, values and hopes for the future. We decided quickly that the best move would be to shift their website onto WordPress and ran CMS training for their key staff to ensure that they would be able to customise and maintain their new website themselves.
“Just wanted to say how impressed I’ve been with the whole process. Seamless from start to finish.”
Karen Jeal | Marketing and PR Manager, Strode Park
Donations are key to the Foundation’s success, so we implemented a brand new e-commerce system to manage them. We also introduced a new ticket system for events with automated e-ticket delivery – with the new website, staff at events could sign tickets in with a barcode scanner on their mobile phones, to give a true representation of attendees and support future marketing and information campaigns.
Finally, we fully integrated Strode Park’s existing careers platform, bringing all the key elements of their site together. With plenty of custom features and tools to make staff and volunteers’ lives easier, this was a joy of a project that we’re certain will make a real difference to the lives of people living with disabilities in Kent.
