With a love of interior design and the Scandi way of life, Senior Designer Charlotte will be bringing her creative flair to Team PB. 

Sum yourself up and life so far…

I have always had an interest in design, even when I was a child. I was always bringing little projects home for my parents and excelled at the creative subjects at school.  During my placement year at university, I worked as a developer and quickly found it wasn’t for me. I made the change to become a designer and have never looked back! Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of working at a few digital agencies across Kent and I’m now working at PB as a Senior Designer and I’m loving it!

Who would be your dream client?

Another passion of mine is interior design. Made.com specialise in designing affordable high-end furniture. Their minimalistic branding and products are perfectly aligned with my taste.

Where is your favourite place in the world?

Norway, I have a few friends that live out there which I visit.  The landscape is absolutely beautiful and I also really admire the Scandinavian way of life and history.

Favourite social media channel?

Reddit because there is such a variety in the content. I often spend hours reading through ridiculous stories, laughing at stupid videos or being grossed out by GIFs.

What’s your social media bugbear?

When people upload a photo with a watermark on it and pretend it’s their own.

Do you have any hidden talents?

Yes, I’ve not sneezed at work for 3.5 years and counting.  I have received a trophy and cards for this accomplishment!

What do you get up to in your spare time?

My spare time is normally spent with my friends and family exploring local pubs. Every Wednesday evening is ‘girls night’, we get dinner, catch-up and watch chick flicks. We also experiment with makeup and special effects body paint.  They often say I have “completed Netflix”, that’s because I absolutely love relaxing in front of the TV with a good crime drama.

If you won the lottery, what’s the first thing you would do?

The boring answer is that I would gift some of it to friends and family.    After that, I would take them all on an amazing holiday – somewhere sunny!

What object could you not live without?

I know she’s not an object but definitely my twin sister Elizabeth, we are inseparable!
